Ray Daniel McFaddin, born October 14, 1929 in Lexington, Virginia went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2018 from his home at Natural Bridge.
He was born October 14, 1929 in Lexington to the late Herbert Preston McFaddin and Ada Virginia Palmer.
He was also preceded by six brothers and sisters, Guy Winfred McFaddin, Hunter Prestion McFaddin, Ruth Agnes Deacon, Virginia Belle Conner, Cathern Louise Wiseman and Marie Wiginton.
He worked at James Lee Carpets in Glasgow for 25 years then went on the road as a truck driver for 19 years and was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship.
Survived by wife of 68 years, Berndette Posey McFaddin; two daughters, Erlin Karr and Sandra (James) Fix; two sons, Ray Daniel McFaddin Jr. and Ronald Preston (Leigh) McFaddin; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship with Rev. W. David Bain and Rev. Wes Galford officiating.
Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
