Jacqueline Marie Gage was born in Massachusetts on February 22, 1920 to Mr. Alvaro and Mrs. Teresa Ermida. Jacqueline was blessed with 4 adoring children; Joyce Magan, Thomas Gage, Richard Gage and Deborah Oddi. Her kids went on to give her 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. For the last 30 years Jacqueline was known as “Gramma Lollipop”. Her granddaughter Lizzy gave her the name because “Gramma Lollipop” always had lollipops for her in her purse. Gramma Lollipop became a legend at Pals pre-school in Temecula and at the schools where her granddaughters attended, especially Vintage Hills Elementary. Gramma Lollipop’s love for her family was evident in all she did; she worked hard and had a strong work ethic. Music, crossword puzzles, travel, dancing, books, food and playing cards were her greatest past times. Gramma Lollipop had a love for all animals especially her Boston Terriers she loved all babies and children so much so that she would give lollipops to random children when she was out and about shopping in the community.

Gramma Lollipop was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed away on October 29, 2014. She left behind many sorrowful hearts but she joins two perfect angels that preceded her in death; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Grant. The fortitude and joy she gave to her family will always be treasured and held close to their hearts. Her advice such as, “If you have your health you have everything” will always be valued and remembered when they all have to deal with the testing’s of life. When the days grow long with missing Gramma Lollipop, they will all remember her zest for life, her smile and will be thankful for the opportunities to have shared so many wonderful memories with her.
