Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Smith Raines, 69, will be held at Paris Mountain Holiness Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. W.P. Bagwell. Interment will be in the Raines family cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Duncan, John Thomas, Evans Long, Beauman Nations, Joe Brown ad Lee Hall. They will meet at the home at 4 o'clock.
The Men's Bible class of Paris Mountain Holiness Baptist church will form the honorary escort and will meet at the church at 4:20 o'clock.
Mrs. Raines died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.O. Tolliver, 2 Highland avenue, Riverside, Friday morning after a long illness. For the past few years she had lived with her children and had been a lifelong resident of Greenville.
She was a member of Eden Holiness Baptist church.
Her first husband, Edward Lee Raines died a number of years ago. Later she was married to Thomas P Raines who died in 1944.
Surviving are one daughter, two sons, one step-daughter, three stepsons, two sisters, one brother and 12 grandchildren.
The body is at the home, 2 Highland avenue, Riverside, awaiting the service.
