Catherine's name is on a family gravestone at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. But she is not buried there. Family thinks she died in Crawford County, Iowa and was possibly buried on a farm. But there is no evidence to date that verifies this. Her husband, Michael J. Dolan, moved to Spokane, Washington after Catherine passed with their two young children, Michael Jr. and Mary (Mamie). Michael J. Dolan then was killed in a streetcar accident in Spokane in 1895. He is buried there.
