Mrs. Belle Althouse, Dies at Home Here; Funeral on Tuesday
Mrs. Belle Walker Althouse, 81, the widow of Edgar Althouse, died at her home, 1212 Wadsworth Street, Saturday night after a short illness. She was a native of Palermo and had resided in Syracuse for 30 years.
Surviving are a son, Stanley Althouse, of Syracuse; two sisters, Mrs. Ida M. Griffin, of Syracuse, and Mrs. George View, of Distin Road, Fulton; a brother, George E. Walker, of Syracuse.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral establishment of William P. Hart and Sons, with the Rev. Calvin M. Thompson, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
