Mr. Browning was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on April 14, 1935, the son of the late George Browning, Jr. and Cornelia Hall Fitzgerald. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was a retired social worker.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Melisia Browning of Carrollton; grandchildren, Taylor Browning King, Shae Browning, Ethan Browning; great grandchild, Grant King. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth John Browning.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
A graveside service and interment will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The U.S. Army Honor Guard will provide military honors.
