Charles S. Anacker, 67, 1015 Cleveland, died March 28, 1948 in St. Luke's Hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Anacker was born in Germany, Dec. 24, 1880, the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy Fern Anacker. Practically his entire life had been spent here. For the last 12 years, he had been employed as a toolmaker and machinist at Foster Brothers Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church and the Helping Hand Society. On June 7, 1905, he married Wilhelmina Bickhardt. She died Sept. 2, 1946. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Glen Austin and Mrs. Floyd Merrihew, Utica; two brothers, William Anacker, Utica and August Anacker, San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Kreber, Utica; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Keilbach Funeral Home, 321 Genesee. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
