BRANDON, VT. - Rebecca "Becky" Lois (Clark) Adams, age 87, of 427 Grove Street in Brandon, passed away on Monday, March 5th 2018 at the Porter Hospital in Middlebury.

She was born on March 24th 1930 in Florence, Vt., she was the daughter of Herbert Edwin and Ethel Ruth (Palmer) Clark Sr.

She grew up in Breese Mills, Vt. and graduated from Brandon High School Class of 1947.

She married Harold Arthur Adams on September 7th 1947 in Florence, Vermont.

At the time of her marriage she worked as a Clerk and resided in Brandon, Vt.

In addition to the Family Farm, Becky worked for many years as a Cashier and Bookkeeper at the Brandon A&P, Grand Union, and IGA. She retired in 1997.

She was an Avon Representative for 25 years.

In earlier years, she was a 4-H leader for the Arnold District 4-H Club.

She had been a member of the Neshobe Sportsman Club and belonged to Brandon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit #55.

Becky was an enthusiastic volunteer for The Nature Conservancy.

She enjoyed cooking and dancing and was an avid reader.

She was predeceased by her parents; her father Herbert Clark Sr. on January 6th 2003 and her mother Ethel Clark on October 17th 1995, one sister; Eva Torres, and two brothers; Robert E. Clark on September 24th 2011 and Herbert Edwin Clark Jr. on January 22nd 2009.

Arrangements by the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home on 26 Franklin Street in Brandon, Vt.

The graveside committal service and burial will take place at a later date at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon, Vt.
