Mrs. Ophelia Nations, Dies

Mrs. Ophelia Smith Nations passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Tarver, in the Clear Branch community, Saturday, June 3.
She was born in Simpson county, April 3, 1860. She came to Lincoln in early girlhood. She married Mr. J. E. Nations who preceded her to the grave 23 years.

Mrs. Nations is survived by four daughter; Mrs. Emmett Nusom, of Beaumont, Tex.; Mrs. Walter Diamond, Mrs. John Tarver and Mrs. Anice Frazier, all of the Clear Branch community. She also leaves one brother, one sister and several grandchildren.

The funeral was preached Sunday, June 4th at 12 o’clock by Rev M. J. Gilbert at the Clear Branch Baptist church of which she was a faithful member.

Interment was in Clear Branch cemetery.

Deepest sympathy is extended to those bereaved – XXX
