Lester L. Letson , 84, of Huntsville passed away Sunday.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura M. Letson ; father, Elzie G. Letson ; and mother, Cyrena Mae Williams Letson .
Surviving are son, Leslie L. Letson of Owens Cross Roads; daughter, Sandy Faye Gwathney of Boaz; stepdaughter, Betty Lou Gwathney of Huntsville; sisters, Christine Capshaw of Huntsville, Frances Delene Griffin of Huntsville, Nancy Walsh of Glen Burnie, Md. Shirley Letson of Huntsville and sister, Reva Baxter of Huntsville; brothers, Louis Letson of Huntsville, Elzie Letson Jr. of Brownsboro and John Letson of Huntsville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, www.nhfh.net, at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Bro. Wayne Walls officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
