February 22, 1965 – March 4, 2018
Melanie Dawn Bradley Amos, 53, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Melanie was born in Alamance County, North Carolina in 1965. She loved NASCAR and she was a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan. She enjoyed racing, fishing, listening to oldies and country music, and she especially enjoyed her new Silverado which she only got to drive three times. Most importantly, she loved God, and the times she had with her grandkids. Melanie was a bus driver for 15 years for both Caroline and Stafford counties. She will be missed by all of the kids that rode her bus. She is survived by her husband, Mike Amos; her sons, Wesley Amos and wife Cheridy, and Andrew Amos; her mother, Betty Johnston of Burlington, NC; her sister, Sherry Bradley of Graham, NC; her brother, Barry Bradley of Mebane, NC; and her grandsons, Bentley Amos and Bryce “Boogie” Amos. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Wesley Bradley; and her brother, Roger Dale Bradley. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Round Oak Baptist Church Cemetery
