Paul William Ricci, 91, of Cumberland died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home. He was born September 25, 1926 in Cumberland to Herman and Antonia (Ranallo) Ricci. Paul served his country as an M.P. in Korea with the US Army. He was married in St. Ann Catholic Church in Turtle Lake on September 25, 1948 to Donna Starkweather. Paul worked as a long haul trucker for over 25 years while farming, then farmed full time, which he continued through the present day.

He is survived by his children: Steve Ricci of Baggs, WY, Toni (Donald) Wasilensky of Brainerd, MN, Tammy (Steve) Schaetz of Draper, UT and Joy (Monte) Becker of Barron; grandchildren: Derek Stauner, Brooke Constable, Chana Wood, Christopher Wasilensky, Michelle Gonzalez, Levi Ricci, Colleen Jo Ricci, Katherine Munson; great grandchildren: Talina, Sophia, Ava, Layla, Broderick, Savannah, Stormy and Alessia; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna on November 2, 2017; siblings: Andy, Albert, Augustine, William, Ernest, Edward, Ernestine, Laura, Lucille, Florence, Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Monday, March 12, 2018; 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Dennis Mullen officiating and burial with full military honors at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Derek Stauner, Talina Gonzalez, Larry Peterson, Jason Schuck, John Wood, Rex Brenizer, Oscar Gonzalez and Christopher Wasilensky. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, and for an hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church.

Memorials are encouraged to Anderson-Thompson Post #98 American Legion or Acorn Hill EAAT, Inc. which provides horse riding therapy for the handicapped 7969 65th Ave SW, Motley, MN, 56466.
