Manitowoc - Donna J. Ward, age 85, of Manitowoc, passed away early Friday morning, March 9, 2018 at her residence with her loving family at her side.

The former Donna Jean Marie Luckow was born on May 5, 1932 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Beyer) Luckow. She grew up in Manitowoc and attended local area schools. On December 17, 1955 Donna married the love of her life, Duane E. "Wiener" Ward at Angola, IN. Almost celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary together, Duane preceded her in death on November 24, 2015. Donna worked at the Mirro Company in Two Rivers and Manitowoc, Hamilton's in Two Rivers and retiring after 28 years from Weyerhauser Company in Manitowoc. The couple had a cottage in Cecil that they went to all the time. She enjoyed fishing, camping, going on trips to New York City and Martha's Vineyard and going to many casino trips and the S.S. Badger Car Ferry.

Survivors include her ten children and their spouses: Debra (Larry) Kakatsch, Manitowoc; Brenda Raatz, Manitowoc; Vicki (Jerry) Roatch, Spooner; Scott (Kathy) Ward, Manitowoc; Charlene Schaus, Two Rivers; Brian (Lissa) Ward, Evansville, IN; Michelle (Russell) Farr Jr., Manitowoc; Renee (Shawn) Yanda, Manitowoc; Russell Ward, Two Rivers; Rachel Ward, Manitowoc; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Harlas "Buddy" (Joan) Luckow, Manitowoc; James Luckow, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Lillian Luckow; her husband: Duane "Wiener" Ward; one grandson: Ryan Anderson; one infant sister: Valeria Luckow; one brother: Merlyn Luckow; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Sharon Luckow; Robert (Ann) Ward; Lucille (Bud) Seal; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Earl and Florence Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Pastor Stevie Ward will officiate with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
