Daughter of John Alton and Catharine Adams. She married Newton Edward Westfall about 1806 and they divorced 10 Sep 1811, they had one daughter Parmelia Westfall. She then married George Stipes in Gibson County 11 April 1818; she had two daughter Celia Jane Stipes and Ophelia Cressa Stipes.
