He was born July 13, 1961, in Corsicana.
Mr. Brown graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1980 and attended Lon Morris College. He was a welder and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolen and Sammie Smith; wife, Teresa Marie Brown; and brother, John William Brown.
Survivors include his fiancée, Mary Rousseau of Jacksonville; son, Greg Brown of Peedmont, Ala.; daughters, Amber Brown and Mandy Brown, both of Jacksonville; brother, Bill Gans of Dallas; sisters, Nancy Brown of Neches, Patsy Henderson of Jacksonville, and Judy Lassiter of Jacksonville; aunt and uncle, Dixie and David Dudley of Jacksonville; granddaughter Kyleigh Smith; three stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
