Manitowoc - Marna L. Wagner, age 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the sanctuary of her home.

She was born December 8, 1939 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Vilas and Modesta (Schesta) Hoffman. Marna was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. On July 16, 1960, she married Jerry Wagner in Eugene, Oregon. He preceded her in death in January 1987. After getting married, the couple moved back to Wisconsin together. Marna was employed with Northern Labs for many years until her retirement in 2005. The thing that gave her the most satisfaction was helping people. Marna was always a very selfless person and usually gave more than she had. She was a rare gem who always thought the best of everybody and treated all people fairly. Marna was a wonderful companion and trusted confidant. She loved nature and especially enjoyed taking walks with her dog Buka.

Survivors include three children: Wanda Wagner, Doug Wagner, and Paula Wagner, all of Manitowoc; Three grandchildren: Levi Wagner, Logan Wagner, and Cora VanEss; three brothers: Jim (JoAnn) Hoffman, Bud (Rita) Hoffman, and Marty (Mary) Hoffman; three sisters: Ellen Peters, Candice (Al) Krueger, and Pauline (Bill) Blashka; her brother-in-law: Eugene "Yatch" (Sue) Wagner; and a sister-in-law: Barb Wagner. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She is further preceded in death by three brothers: Tom Hoffman, Bruce Hoffman, and Brian Hoffman; two sisters: Audrey Skattebo and Tory Hastings; two brothers-in-law: Bob Peters and Kimber Wagner; one sister-in-law: Luanne LaFleur; her father: Vilas Hoffman (1978); her mother: Modesta "Minnie" Hoffman (2011); and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter (1989) and Elaine Wagner (2000).

Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the All-Care Family Center, 925 South 14th Street, Manitowoc.
