Paul Christopher Eppich

February 15, 1937 – March 7, 2018


Paul Christopher Eppich 81, of North Ogden Utah, a hero to all those who knew him, husband, father, grandfather, returned home to our Father in Heaven on Wednesday March 7, 2018.

Paul entered this world on February 15, 1937 in Smithfield Utah. He was the third child of Dorothy (Larsen) and Darrell Vern Eppich. He attended school in Logan Utah and graduated from Logan High School. He met the love of his life Helen James on a blind date. They were married on July 10th, 1964 in Paradise Utah and later were sealed together on June 6th, 1992 in the Ogden Utah LDS Temple. Together they had two children and 13 grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family. Aside from being with his wife spending time with his family was the most important thing in his life. He was so proud of each of them and loved to tell everybody about them and their accomplishments.

Paul was a friend to all. His nick name was grin as he loved to smile. He was a Boy Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Leader. He always cared about visiting the people he was assigned to home teach. He was a diligent home teacher.

Paul spent his entire working career at The Utah Power and Light Company. Sometime after retiring he served his wife as an amazing care provider as she battled with several health issues. He loved her so much.

Paul is survived by his eternal spouse and the love of his life, Helen James Eppich, his children, Kimberly (Michael) Davis, Troy (Tara) Eppich, 13 grandchildren, his sister, Donna Forsberg; his brother, Kenneth (Brenda) Eppich;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Vern Eppich (father), Dorothy (Larsen) Eppich (mother), Darrell Eppich (brother).

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 17, 2018 at the North Ogden 8th Ward Chapel, 1150 East 2600 North, North Ogden Utah.

Friends may visit with the family Friday March 16, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the North Ogden 8th Ward Building, 1150 East 2600 North, North Ogden Utah and Saturday from 10:00 until 10:30 a.m.
