Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 2 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, with the Rev. Allen Kramp officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9 from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the St. John Cemetery, Mayville, WI.
Laura was born on May 14, 1908 to Robert and Martha (Seering) Boeck. She grew up on Highway 33 next to the one room school she attended. Laura then moved to West Allis where she worked and retired after 18 years at Allis Chalmers.
Laura was active at St. Paul's Church in West Allis. She will be remembered for her baking, pride in sewing quilts and so many Raggedy Ann dolls. She also liked to travel and spend time with family. She also enjoyed summer trips to the lake with her sisters and best friend Lucille Jacobson with whom she resided with for most of her life.
She is survived by: her sister- Alice Pieper of Mayville and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, sisters and brothers Anita Figge, Leona Rosenow, Marvin Boeck, Elmer Boeck, Lorraine Starr and Betty Stippich.
Laura will always be remembered for her warm heartedness, kind words, and loving spirit. The family wants to express gratitude to her caregivers at Clearview who gave her such great care.
