STRAVINSKY - Edith M., 86, formerly of St. Michael, died March 11, 2018, at Cambria Care Center. Born September 21, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Bertha (Danasko) Galayda. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles E. Stravinsky, who died June 13, 1981; sisters, Elizabeth Yamrose and Julia Metroka; and brothers, Andrew, Charles, John, Rudy and Michael Galayda. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family and leaves a legacy of a life well lived. Her numerous nieces and nephews will hold dear memories of a loving, kind and generous woman. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, and was a retired administrative assistant with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fr. Brian Warchola, Celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery. www.DimondFuneralHome.com
