Mrs. Katherine Louisa Hall, the wife of A. Oakey Hall, former Mayor of New York City, died last night at Short Hills NJ, after a brief illness. She was stricken with apoplexy about five days ago, and Monday night suffered another shock, from which she never rallied, and was unconscious until the moment of her death.
Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Joseph N. Barnes and married early in life. She took great interest in charitable and benevolent institutions. Her husband, one son and several married daughters survive her. Funeral services will be held at St. James Church, Seventy-first Street and Madison Avenue, on Thursday, March 11, and the interment will be at Trinity Cemetery.
