Evelyn Brooks Lee, 77, North Bangor, died Sunday at her home.
Mrs. Lee was a member of the Methodist Church.
Born April 7, 1925, in Malone, daughter of Joseph and Adeline Spinner Brooks, she attended Malone schools.
She married Alan Lee on June 7, 1947, at the West Bangor Methodist Church. Theirs was the first marriage in that church in 80 years.
Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Michael and Cana, North Bangor; four brothers, Francis Brooks, Malone, Raymond Brooks, Rome, Norman Brooks, Virginia, and William Brooks,
Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Beatrice Warner, Malone, Shirley Haywood, Massena, and Rita Williams, Phoenix, Ariz.; two stepsisters, Bertha Shova, North Bangor, and Shirley Johnson, Burke; a stepbrother, Abraham Martin, Constable; three half-sisters, Madeline and Susan Perry, Malone, and Linda Renault, Connecticut, and two half-brothers, Adrian Brooks, Malone, and George Brooks, Connecticut.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spaulding Funeral Home, Malone. Burial will be in North Bangor Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
