Marriage - Emanovsky - Mauck - Miss Mary Eleanor Mauck and Richard William Emanovsky were united in marriage on Sunday afternoon in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Bohemia. The Rev. Joseph Bond, rector of St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Sayville, performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of white chrysanthemums and greens. Charles Van Schaick was the organist and Gary Newhouse the soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elray Clayton Mauck, of Tariff Street, Sayville, and her husband the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Emanovsky of Ocean Avenue in Bohemia. Given in marriage by her father, she wore a gown of white satin in princess style with a chapel train. The bodice of Chantilly lace featured a scalloped sabrina neckline and long sleeves and her fingertip veil was attached to a Juliet cap. She carried a cascade of white roses and stephanotis. Mrs. Phyllis M. Elliott, of Babylon, was the matron of honor for her sister, and Mrs. Eva Dunn, of Sayville, and Miss Patricia Mahon of West Sayville, were the bridesmaids. The attendants were all dressed in waltz length gowns of red velvet, and flat red bows and tiny veils on their heads. They carried round bouquets of white Fuji chrysanthemums and pom pons. Joseph Rysanck, of Bohemia, was the best man, and Richard Mauck, the bride's brother, and Emil Emanovsky, the groom's brother, were the ushers. Following the ceremony, a reception for 68 guests was held at Neuling's Restaurant, which was decorated with bronze chrysanthemums. Mrs. Mauck wore a dress of copen blue lace with matching feathered hat, while the groom's mother wore medium blue lace with a matching hat. Both wore orchid corsages. The bride was graduated from Sayville High School and the Belleview School of Nursing. Her husband was graduated from Sayville High School and is employed at Brookhaven National Laboratory. After a wedding trip to Florida, they will make their home on Smithtown Avenue, in Bohemia.
