Miss Elrod was born to Charles Luther and Malinda Lee Wilson.
She was an author and avid painter for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Staten of Ruston, La. and Rebecca Jane Elrod of Mt. Juliet, Tenn; brothers, Eric Elrod of Lebanon, Tenn and Timothy Elrod of Palestine and other extended family.
