Ida L. Hein, age 91, of 2005 Division St., died Wednesday, October 29, 1997, at St. Mary's Home for the Aged, Manitowoc.
A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 1997, at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Father Tom Wojciechowski O.F.M. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
She was born October 26, 1906, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Heinzen Ourada. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Manitowoc Business College. Ida was the first woman bank teller at the former Manitowoc Savings Bank. She married Edwin M. Hein on October 3, 1928. They shared 57 years of marriage until his death in November of 1985.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Elizabeth Hein, Manitowoc; one daughter, Mary Ann Madsen, Manitowoc; one sister, Leona Neuser, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Jean Ourada, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, Mark (Anne) Hein, Manitowoc, Cathy (Patrick) Hyde, Omaha, Neb., Laura Runnell, Manitowoc, Raymond Jr. (Louise) Madsen, Bedford, Texas, Peter (Marie) Madsen, Coschocton, Ohio, Scott (Dawn) Madsen, Manitowoc, Robin (Theresa) Madsen, Batavia, Ill., Kerry (John) Hunter, Arlington, Texas, John (Rhonda) Madsen, Arlington, Texas, 13 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Joey and Brittany Hyde, Jarrod Bunnell, Raychel Hein, Gregg, Jayme, Michael, Matthew, Carly and Michael Madsen, Ashley Camp, Jennifer Hunter; nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Anton Ourada; one sister, Violet Zmeskal; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Zmeskal and Reinhold Neuser.
There will be no visitation.
The Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
