Sidney M. Conard, age 74, of 154 Hoover St., Whitelaw, died Thursday, June 3, 1999 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 1999, at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Officiating will be the Rev. Steven D. Olson, cremation will have taken place and burial of his cremated remains will take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
He was born October 26, 1924, in Brussel, Wis. son of the late Arthur and Clara Hafeman Conard. He attended schools in Kewaunee Wis., and graduated with the class of 1943, Kewaunee High School. He married the former Lorraine S. Bailey, on April 14, 1951, in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1998. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #706, and a past member of Teamsters local #75.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kurt and Carol Conard, Manitowoc, Gregory and Roseann Conard, Milwaukee; one daughter, Karen L. Conard, Whitelaw; one brother, Jim Conard, California; three grandchildren; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Clarence and Sylvia Bailey, Clinton, Wis., Mary Hiller, Manitowoc, Edna Fonnesbeck, Manitowoc; one special friend, Tom O'Conner, Whitelaw; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Besides his parents and wife, Lorraine, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Conard, and twin brother, Robert Conard.
Relatives and friends may call at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, on Saturday, June 5, 1999, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
