Gary L. Peronto, age 59, of 1720 Emmet St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday night, August 19, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Gary was born on March 10, 1955, in Two Rivers, a son of Joanne (Jorgensen) Peronto and the late Dale Peronto. He graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1973. On May 30, 1981, he married Dora Bartels. Gary was employed at the Formrite Co. for 41 years. He played softball in his younger days, liked gardening, was a BIG Yankees fan and especially enjoyed his time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife: Dora Peronto, Two Rivers; son and daughter-in-law: Matthew and Sarah Peronto, Two Rivers; daughter and son-in-law: Elizabeth and Eric Dodge, Two Rivers; his grandchildren: Caden, Christian, Corey, Cowan, Addison, Aubrey, Peter and Caitlyn; and his mother: Joanne Peronto, Two Rivers. He is further survived by his sisters and brother: Lori Buda, Two Rivers, Connie (Mike) Lyon, Bellevue, Wash., Rick (Mary) Peronto, Green Bay and Mari Jo (Jim) Holmes, Two Rivers; three brothers-in-law: Donald (Brenda) Bartels, Jr., Conrad (Sue) Bartels, and Wayne Bartels; and one sister-in-law: Donna (Dennis) Williams; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Norman and Alice Peronto and Tillie Reich; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donald and Genrose Bartels and a sister-in-law: Connie Bartels.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma with burial to follow in Knollwood Memorial Park.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, on Sunday evening, August 24, 2014, from 4 until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m.
