Statia lived most her life in St. Louis, MO before moving to Colorado in 2011. Her family and yearly trips to Florida brought her great joy. A small ceremony will be held in May in Treasure Island, FL to commemorate her life. She is survived by her brother Thomas Beck, her children, Karey Lontz (Tom Van Ness) and John Smith-Lontz (Chandra Lontz-Smith), her grandchildren Savannah Lontz and John Lontz as well as many other dear extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Curt and Randy Beck.
