Mrs. Arnold was a native of Warrensburg, MO and a resident of Shreveport, LA for forty years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Arnold was a devoted wife and loving mother. Some of her hobbies were reading, painting, needle point, and sewing. She devoted her life to the education of her family as well as others. She was a teacher at St. Joseph School and became the first non clergy principal at St. Joseph. Her tenure as principal lasted for eight years.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Arnold; her parents, Roy and Georgia Courtney; and brother, James Courtney; and daughter, Susan Elaine Arnold. She is survived by her three daughters, Jeanette Marie Savage and husband, Darrell , Mary Anne Waldrip and husband, Bill, and Elizabeth Ann Duke; two sons, Steven Louis Arnold, Michael Alan Arnold and wife, Jane; six grandchildren, Thomas John Waldrip, Craig Alan Waldrip, Amy Elizabeth Waldrip, Curtis Michael Arnold, Chad Alan Arnold and Annemarie Carrigan Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Waldrip, Craig Waldrip, Bill Waldrip, Darrell Savage, Curtis Arnold and Chad Arnold.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Arc of Caddo-Bossier.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of The Cottages in Shreveport and St. James Place in Baton Rouge.
