She was born December 18, 1920 in Onslow County and was the daughter of the late Luther Edd and Ressie Mae Jones. She was also predeceased by her husband and father of her children, Rifton Lee Bradshaw and late husband, Hobart Brinson. Also lovingly remembered are her predeceased son, Mickey Bradshaw; her granddaughters, Lisa Bradshaw, Stephanie Bradshaw, and Melissa Ann Bradshaw; great grandson, Perry Bennett; brothers, Morris Jones and Ralph Jones and sister, Wilma Simpson.
Louise was a member of Wallace Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her devoted children, Tanya B. Robinson and husband Dan of Wallace, Tony Bradshaw and wife Loetta of Teachey, Tommy Bradshaw and wife Jane of Rose Hill, and Luke Bradshaw and wife Teresa of Wallace; grandchildren, Beverly Scruggs and husband Rodney, Lawanda Mann and husband Boyce, Tony Graham Bradshaw, Monica Bennett, Brandon Bradshaw, Tommy Bradshaw, Jr., Chrystal Bradshaw, and Jill Massey and husband Steve; great grandchildren, Ryann Barefoot, Bristen Getz, Payton Mann, Teli Bradshaw, Kaylee Bradshaw, and Victoria Batts; great great grandson, Lake Barefoot; sister, Janet Heaton of Fountaintown; brothers, Lannis Jones of Raleigh and Rivers Jones of Ravenna, OH; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jones of Beulaville; step children, Linda Jenkins and husband Ed, Brad Brinson and wife Sandra, Lisa Jarman and husband Tim, and Susan Lacy and husband Cliff; numerous nieces, nephews and friends that loved Louise dearly.
Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her family dearly. She was a woman of uncommon character, beauty and grace; and to those who knew her, “an instrument of God’s love on this earth.” Being a friend to all, Louise was a strong yet gentle presence who looked for and encouraged the best in everyone. She was a shoulder upon whom many found comfort and support. Most of all, Louise was a woman of faith and believed in the power of prayer. Her life provided an impeccable example for her children, family and friends over the years. Louise will surely be missed, but cherished memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Louise’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Wallace Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Little Creek Cemetery on Hanchey Road in Wallace.
