Funeral services for Herman L. Easley, of Wolfe City are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Owens Funeral Chapel with Brother Bob Gregory officiating and Rev Clifton Julian assisting. He died a Smith Nursing Home on Friday. Burial will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery.
He was born May 6, 1910 to Richard M and Elizabeth Rutz Easley in Celeste.
Herman was a rancher in the Fairlee Community near Wolfe City TX. He married Emma Eveline Clayton on 22 March 1935 in Hunt County TX. Survivors include 4 sons Carlos of Austin, Don of Mesquite, Lee of Wolfe City ad Michael of Wolfe City. One sister Ethel Imogene Delaughter and one brother N.E. Easley of Wolfe City, 10 grand children and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, one daughter and his parents.
