Hilda E. Huey, 84, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in Evergreen Assisted Living, Waynesburg. Mrs. Huey was born July 3, 1933, a daughter of the late Millard and Georgia Morris Stockdale.
Surviving are two children, Doreen Rice of Jackson, Mich., and John C. Huey Jr. of Carmichaels; a brother, George Stockdale of Sun City, Ariz.; two sisters, Juanita Broadwater of Waynesburg and Patricia Fox of Imperial; and two grandchildren, Lauren M. and Donald C. Huey. Deceased are her husband, John C. Huey Sr.; three brothers, Neil, Robert and Stanley C. Stockdale; and a sister, Sandra. Mrs. Huey worked as a caregiver for disabled children for years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Carmichaels.
Mrs. Huey enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Monday, March 26, in Paul M.
