"Mrs Georgia Coleman, widow of Furnie W Coleman, died Wednesday evening at her home in Goose Creek. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday in Stuhr's North Charleston chapel. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman was born Nov 20, 1891 in Wilmington N.C., a daughter of Major R Brown and Mary Elizabeth Garret Brown. She was an Episcopalian.
Surviving are: two daughters. Mrs Margaret Thigpen of Goose Creek, and Mrs Elizabeth Harrelson of N.J.; one brother, Charlie R Brown of John's Island; and seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild."
