Died of Heart Disease
That is the cause given by coroner Byrd for sudden ending of Jack Adam's life.
As told in yesterday's late editions The News-press, Coroner Byrd was called to the home of Plea Little, 1 miles southeast of Winthrop, this occured about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, to view the body of Jack Adams, who was found dead there shortly after noon. The dead man was sixty-seven years old, then an old resident of Buchanan County.
The corpse was discovered by Little, whom Adams had been employed some years. There was no indication the death had resulted from violence. Adam had been complaining of his heart for a week, and the coroner pronounced he had disease as the cause of death.
Little went to Winthrop yesterday afternoon after a doctor and the physician was with him when Adams dead body was found.
