She was a generous and good-hearted person whose sons and grandchildren meant the world to her. Sadie is survived by her three sons, Elwood "Woody" and wife, Martha, Edward and wife, Nancy, and James and wife, Gloria. Sadie is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Elwood "Red" Acree. Sadie retired from the Veterans Hospital in 1972 as a dietician. Although she was unable the last several years, Sadie loved to travel and fish with her husband and sons.
Sadie also loved her church and has been a member of Harwood United Methodist Church since moving to Albuquerque in 1947.
