Patricia Ann Ellies, age 67, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, February 15, 2018, at her home.
She was born October 1, 1950, in Danville, the daughter of James and Lucile (Landis) Downs. She was married to Robert Wayne Vice who preceded her in death. Pat worked as a CNA in nursing homes and home care. She loved arts and crafts and enjoyed making handmade items, that she would display at the Honey Bee Festival and Log Cabin Days, and often made candy for family and friends. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother, and attended Strong Tower Church in Flora.
She is survived by 2 sons: Robert Vice (Lori) of San Antonio, TX, and William Scott Vice (Erica) of Georgetown; 8 grandchildren: Stephen Lane, William Cahill, Oma Cahill, Sierra (Sheldon) Truelove, Brody Vice, Cullen Vice, Addison, and Emberlynn Vice; 3 great-grandchildren; brother: James Downs of Ridge Farm; sister: Sandy Phillips of Ridge Farm; maternal aunt: Ella Mae of Paris; sister-in-law: Marcy Bowling of Covington, IN; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother: William Bill Downs.
There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. The family has requested no flowers or gifts, but memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
