Elizabeth A. Swope, 64, of Nashport, passed peacefully from this life to the next on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her family. She was born June 30, 1939 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Charles and Rosemary Shumate Faust Sr. Mrs. Swope was a former cashier for the Cable TV Co., and later became a cook at the Zanesville High School. She was a member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church, an avid reader and enjoyed making crafts, bingo, gardening and flowers. Surviving are one daughter, Lisa(Wolfgang)Ewert of Zanesville, two sons, Bruce Swope of Caldwell, and Brian(Renee)Swope of Zanesville, three sisters, Flora Mae Swingle of Nashport, Bertie Doolittle of Roseville, and Kaye Le Page of Zanesville, four brothers, Charles(Sonny)Faust Jr. Of Philo, Jerry(Pat)Faust, John Faust, and Jack(Janet)Faust, all of Zanesville, her spirit is carried to the future in the lives of her seven grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Cory, Anthonee, Brittany, Annie, and Abbeigh.
