He was born on May 5th 1952, he was the son of Peter Paul and Carol E. Whalen.
He grew up in Witherbee, N.Y. and moved to Portland, Oregon in 1972.
There he took on Carpentry as a career, met his wife and started a family before returning to Witherbee, N.Y. in 2004.
He was predeceased by his wife; Joanne Whalen and his father; Peter Whalen.
