Walter was the son of Robert and Elva Gragg Baldridge. He married Harriet M. Washburn on Sept. 6, 1938 in Flagstaff, AZ. He worked for Peter Kiwit Sons Co. for 25 years as an operating engineer, retiring in 171. He moved to Haileyvile in 1974 from Colton, CA. Survivors include his wife, Harriet; a daughter and son in law, Penny and Kerm Lund of Wilburton; a son and daughter in law, Walter D. Jr. and Darlene Baldridge, Bard, CA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nadine Baldridge; and a nephew, Bob Coffee. Funeral service was held Thursday, March 21, 1996.
