Funeral services for Thomas W. Edden, 79, a Civil War veteran, who died Monday afternoon at his home in the town of Clay, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and one hour later from tho North Syracuse Methodist Church. Burial will be at North Syracuse.
Mr. Edden served with Company L, First New York Mounted Rifles during the Civil War. He was one of the oldest residents of North Syracuse and was a trustee of the Methodist Church of that village for more than 50 years. He was also president of the North Syracuse Cemetery Association.
