She was the wife of George McClellan. As husband and wife, they made a home for their family on South Carter Street in Marshall, Texas. In addition to her son, R.A. Cooper, four children were borne from their marriage , namely Wendell McClellan, Nathaniel McClellan, Roscoe McClellan and Ruby Mae McClellan.
She died of natural causes while at her home.
Their daughter, Mrs. Ruby Mae McClellan Edwards, was the informant on the death certificate.
Burial arrangements under the supervision of Eddie Richardson and the funeral directors with Lewis Funeral Home.
