WILLIAM E. BROCK, age 81, 0f South Zanesville, died at 8:45 am Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1923 in Mt. Sterling Ohio the son of the late Carl Brock and Elsie Bell Tewskberry. Mr. Brock was employed in maintenance at Brockway Glass and volunteered at the Eaglesticks Golf Course. He was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ where he served on Consistory. He was a veteran of WW2. Surviving are his wife, Laverna M. Sowards Brock,(married May 25, 1985), of the home, two daughters, Billie(Donald)Peters of Orlando FL, and Marilyn(John)Schilling of Chandlersville, two step daughters, Marta Ferguson of So. Zanesville, and Mary (Clement)Hopper of Zanesville, three step sons, Dennis(Linda)Allen of Marion OH, Steven(Lisa)Allen of Cambridge, and Gary(Joan)Allen of Zanesville, three grandchildren, Christopher Peters, Karen Bell, and Stephanie Clouse, seventeen step grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Brock. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will conduct military services at the gravesite.
