MARGARET MCGINNIS
(1864 - 1951)
Miss Margaret McGinnis, 87, former county school teacher, died Saturday at a hospital in Menominee, Mich. Funeral services will be held at Spaulding, Mich. Early Tuesday morning. The casket will be brought to St. James Cemetery in Cooperstown early Tuesday afternoon with graveside rites in charge of the Rev. W.T. Williams. The DeWane funeral home is in charge.
She was born in Cooperstown in 1864 and in early life taught school in Manitowoc and Brown counties. Fifty years ago she moved to Powers, Mich., to reside with a brother, Thomas. He died in 1939.
Only survivor is an adopted son, Bernard McGinnis of Milwaukee.
