Clearfield Progress (Clearfield, Pennsylvania) > 1921 > November > 10 > Mrs. Rebecca Newcomb, one of the oldest residents of the lower end of the county, passed away at her home in Girard township on Wednesday, November 9th, at 6 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks duration. The deceased was the widow of the late John Newcomb and was aged 88 years, 7 months and 18 days. She is survived by a family of three daughters and two sons. The funeral will occur Monday morning, services being conducted in the Frenchville Catholic church, by Rev. Father McGovern. Interment at Frenchville.
