STONEWALL, LA - Funeral services for Sybil Louise McCrory, 64, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday April 11, 2007 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Gerrall Head, assisted by Rev. Bill Kincaid. Interment will follow in Forest Park West.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
Mrs. McCrory was born in Caddo Parish on October 20, 1942 to Willie and Annie Lafitte. She went to be with her Lord April 6, 2007. She was a life long resident of the area, and graduated in the last class of Greenwood High School, in 1960. She was President of McCrory Distributors. Sybil was a charter member of Landmark Baptist Church of Stonewall.
Her parents precede Mrs. McCrory in death.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Glen McCrory; son, Jeff McCrory and wife Erica; daughter, Lisa Brock and husband Stephen ; sister, Patsy Poindexter; grandchildren Carson Boggs (U.S. Navy), Chastity McCrory, Terry and Carissa McCrory, Dillon Hervey, Taylor Brock; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be, Glen Brown, Larry Boyett, Jason Pickett, Bill Nicholson , Donald Hunt, Truman Causey.
