(1867 - 1946)

Michael Richdorf, 79, Cooperstown, died Thursday at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.

Born in 1867 in Cooperstown, he lived his entire lifetime on the home farm. His wife, the former Elizabeth Keehan, died eight years ago.

Surviving are three sons, Dr. L.F. Richdorf of Minneapolis, Dr. M.L. Richdorf of Sheboygan and Attorney Matt J. Richdorf of Waukesha; there (sic) daughters, Mrs. H.H. Vollendorf of Manitowoc, Mrs. F.J. Rohde of Sheboygan and Mrs. J.F. Kelly of Janesville; a sister, Mrs. Charles Kensington of Los Angeles, Calif., and a brother, Matt of Boyd, Wis. There are 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James' Catholic church at Cooperstown with the Rev. Walter Williams officiating. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at the Knutson funeral home in Denmark at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
