Mrs. Anna Hengel, 72, of New London, died early Monday morning at a New London hospital, where she had been a patient a week. Funeral arrangements will be announced Tuesday by DeWane Funeral Home, Denmark.
The former, Anna Wotruba was born July 5, 1891 in the Town of New Denmark, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Wotruba. She was married to the late John Hengel who died in 1918.
Surviving is a son, Lloyd Hengel of Kimberly; a daughter, Mrs. William Nemecek of Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Frances Pelishek of Maribel and a brother, Frank Wotruba of Denmark.
