Ken loved the outdoors and instilled that love in his family. He was a true outdoors man and loved to fish, hunt and go camping with his family. For him, time not spent outdoors or with his family was wasted time.
The stream stops its hurried fall,
The mountain trembles under its ageless walls,
The river, the lake, the meadow, they know,
Their friend Ken will come no more,
He has gone to be with the Lord.
(Poem written by Ken's son, Chuck, and appeared in his obituary.)
