Obituary:
Services for Harold Leon Brown, 61, of Anniston will be today at 11 a.m. at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin with Rev. William Payne officiating.
Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Saturday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Ardelia Ann Measles Tucker-Brown of Anniston; his mother, Minnie Jo Brown of Anniston; two sons, Harold David Brown and Floyd Lee Brown, both of Anniston; five brothers, Vance James Brown Jr. of Anniston, William Douglas Brown, Bobby Wayne Brown and Harvey Lee Brown, all of North Carolina, Floyd Elwood Brown of Ohio; two stepsons, Harry Tucker Jr. and Horace Tucker, both of Anniston a stepdaughter, Brenda Tucker of California; four sisters-in-law, Julia Brown, Robin Brown, Dee Brown and Linda Brown; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Brown, Jimmy O'Kelley, Thomas Brown, David Taylor, Eddie Vaughn and Frankie Taylor.
Mr. Brown was a native of Fayetteville, N.C. and had lived in Calhoun County the past 10 years. He was retired from the heat and air conditioning business.
He had attended Emmanuel Holiness Church and was preceded in death by his father, Vance James Brown.
