Margaret Emma Doolittle PERROTT, age 90. May 31, 1922 - Aug. 05, 2012.
Margaret Emma Doolittle was born to Lester and Millie Rood Doolittle on May 31, 1922, in Heppner. After high school graduation, she came to Portland to attend business college and worked during WWII for Marshall Wells.
She met Charles Hugo Perrott, a proud Navy man, and after a courtship that was mostly by mail, traveled to Pennsylvania to marry him on April 26, 1944. They were married for 62 years until his passing in 2006.
She is survived by her two daughters, Leslie and Susan; four granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at Cherrywood Village Retirement Community, Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. A huge "THANK YOU" to all the staff and caregivers at Cherrywood Village and Golden Age Center, Memory Care Home for the years of excellent care and love shown to our mother.
