Francis B. Boardman, 73, of 165 Buckingham street, Waterbury, formerly of Meriden, died at his home yesterday. He was born in Lynnfield, Mass. on December 12, 1864, a son of the late Moses Bradford and Mrs. Ellen Barbour Boardman. He was a member of the First Congregational church of Waterbury, and he was secretary and treasurer of the City Lumber and Coal company until he retired about seventeen years ago.

He is survived by a son, Allen H. Boardman and two grandchildren of Waterbury; and two brothers, Judge William B. Boardman of Fairfield and Henry B. Boardman of New Britain.

The funeral will be held at the home in Waterbury tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. James E. Gregg, minister of the First Congregational church of Waterbury, will officiate, and burial will be in Brimfield cemetery, Brimfield, Mass. Friends are asked not to send flowers.
